Airdivision took on this challenging and complex project as one of its major installation contracts. The existing building was renovated and the roof raised to allow for a new air-conditioning system designed mainly to supply the larger auditorium. The duct installation was a critical part of the building process and included supply and return air ductwork up to 2.5 metres wide installed to 8 metres’ height above the floor level using specialist lifting equipment. Other components included a rooftop plantroom, large rooftop ductwork, extra-large outside air ductwork and silencers, new kitchen and toilet exhaust system and a vast fabric duct installation for the new cafe area. A short building schedule and limited working space meant this project required a great amount of collaboration and team work to complete.
